What is Molecular Hydrogen?

Although the research is early, the 1000+ scientific articles suggest that H2 has therapeutic potential in over 170 different human and animal disease models, and essentially every organ of the human body.

Molecular Hydrogen Institute

Molecular Hydrogen Institute (MHI) is a non-profit scientific organization supported by the leading international researchers (see our advisory panel) in the study of hydrogen. Our three primary objectives are:

  • Investigates the molecular mechanisms and primary targets of molecular hydrogen, participates in clinical studies to determine its potential effects.
  • Collaborates with other universities, institutions, and research organizations.
  • Advance, promote, and publicize molecular hydrogen research and its therapeutic application
  • Provide a comprehensive resource for governmental, medical, and scientific professionals/organizations

Education and Certifications

MHI is the epicenter of hydrogen education and training and is the leading educational source for individuals interested in accurately sharing the scientific evidence regarding the therapeutic benefits of H2 gas. The four MHI certifications, H2 Advisor (Level 1), H2 Consultant (Level 2), H2 Professional (Level 3), and H2 Expert (Level 4), provide essential education/knowledge to those who want to learn more about molecular hydrogen. For example, health practitioners, doctors, nutritionists, trainers, sales agents of hydrogen products, wellness coaches, etc.

H2 - Scientific Research Studies

H2 research is still in its infancy with only 1000+ scientific publications. We need more studies to fully understand exactly how the H2 molecule works in the body, which methods of administration are the most effective, what is the optimal dose and frequency for H2 therapy, for which disease, athletic, or other conditions is H2 most effective for at either preventing or treating. The safety profile of H2 is very high, and the preliminary animal and human clinical studies are very promising. We therefore, diligently seek to advance more basic and clinical research both on our own and in collaboration with other accredited research groups.
